 The above instructions are for cutting strips, then cut after sewing. For instructions for cutting all the pieces prior to sewing, click here. This was my very first quilt that I made. I loved it so much that I made two more! I had to force myself to try a different design! I used the cut as you sew method that I found in a book from the "Quilt in a Day" series. I wasn't able to complete the entire quilt in a day! This is a fun and VERY versatile block--the quilt design is unlimited with the same block. However, it does take a little bit of concentration when constructing the block. It is VERY important that the pieces are sewn on in the correct order as numbered in the instructions.
